Steljes Anytime unveiled
Steljes, the specialist technology provider will be showcasing Steljes Anytime at BETT 2008 this week. Steljes Anytime is a complete solution, developed with academics, teaching professionals and learners, pulling together everything needed to implement a successful anytime learning project.
The solution combines a comprehensive and evolving range of devices - from Smartphones and PDAs to UMPCs - with unlimited data airtime, educational content, support and a suite of software applications to provide genuine freedom to discover from almost any location and at any time.
This will be demonstrated on stand B50 in the Grand Hall. The stand will represent a day in the life of a child and aims to take the vistior on a journey from the classroom, on a museum field trip and then back home to explore the opportunities for learning and how these can be harnessed through anytime learning.
Children and teachers from schools in Wandsworth, Wolverhampton and Kent, already using the technology, will be on the Steljes stand (each day at 12 noon and 2.00pm) to show visitors how anytime learning works in practice and how it has been helping them to extend the classroom walls and learn whenever they want and wherever they are.
There will be presentations on the stand throughout the show from members of the Steljes Anytime Community – a collection of award winning educational content providers, making their content available through the Steljes Anytime network.
