BAPCO 2008, the public safety communications and IT event, will be taking place on 23 – 24 April at the Business Design Centre, Islington, London. Aimed at professionals who work in public safety communications, civil contingencies response, business continuity and information management, the show offers hundreds of the latest and future communication, data management and information technologies. AIMTech, Leeds University’s research group, will also be leading a seminar in the event’s Showcase Theatre at 2.00pm on Thursday, 24 April. The seminar will highlight AIMTech’s findings, which demonstrate how interactive technologies can lead to more effective briefing and command and control scenarios.
